Easy Heart-Shaped Valentine's Recipes ( Part II )

It's that time of the year again, where it is justifiable to shape your food into a heart without people cringing on it !

Many of you seemed to like my post on easy recipes for valentine's last year, and I even have a couple of girls who actually tried to make them yourself ( which, if I have yet to say how flattered i am, here it is xx ). So I thought, I'll make a part II of that post - read here for part I !

p/s with work nowadays, I haven't got the luxury of time nor space to let my creativity out, so this post is relatively a short and sweet one!

1. Nutella Oreo stuffed Hershey Brownies

Ingredients :
- Oreo
- Nutella
- Brownie Mix ( Hershey )
- Oil
- Egg
- Water

Instructions :
- Preheat (toaster) Oven
- Prepare the brownie mix as instructed on the back of the box - but just in case, mix half of the box's mix with oil, water, one egg and half of the hershey pouch. Let the mix sits while you get the others ready.
- Take two oreos and spread generous amount of nutella on each, and stack them. Place the stacked oreos into a liner. I used heart-shaped silicone tray which I purchased from Daiso.
- Spoon brownie batter directly on top until it fully covers the oreo.
- Baked for 20 - 25 minutes ( Tip: when you poked a toothpick through and it came out clean, it's ready! )

- Bake for 20-25 minutes (Tip:when you poked a toothpick through and it came out clean, it's ready! )

While waiting for the brownies to be ready, prepare cream cheese :
- Let your cream cheese in the room temperature for a while so it would be soft and ready to be used!
- Mix the melted cream cheese with sugar - to mix well, you can use the folding method.

When your brownies are ready :
- Let the tray of brownies cool down for a while before cutting it into smaller heart shapes
- Spread the prepared cream cheese between two cut-up heart-shaped brownies
- Pop it into the freezer for a while to get the cheese hardened

Who am I spending Valentine's with? Myself :) Sometimes we are so entangled in spreading our love ( even sometimes, to people who don't deserve it ) that we forgot to love ourselves.

Have a good valentine's you lovebirds xx
